The International Congress on Health is a scientific event that brings together professionals, students and researchers in the field of health as a whole. The congress is organised in a long-standing partnership between the Universidade Regional do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (UNIJUÍ), in the city of Ijuí, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and the Centro de Investigação em Estudos da Criança (CIEC) of the Instituto de Educação of the Universidade do Minho (UMinho), in Braga, Portugal.
The event began at UNIJUÍ in 2011 and was held for the first time at UMinho in 2018. Held annually, the event alternates between these two higher education and research institutions. The themes underlying each edition have sought to respond to the health issues that emerge at each moment of its organization. From postgraduate activities and faculty exchanges, to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and adapting to new ways of interacting and communicating, the International Health Congress has grown stronger and expanded its network of participants with each passing year and edition.
This year, 2024, the 11th International Congress on Health will be held at the CIEC of the University of Minho's Institute of Education, from 17 to 19 July.
The anchoring theme of the 11th CIS is Empowerment, Awareness and Education for Health Gains from Childhood, key words for giving each individual back the power to manage, rescue and promote their own health and that of others.
Knowing the interest and involvement of the extensive scientific community in health issues, we invite you to participate and share your knowledge and experiences, which will enrich the list of panels scheduled for this meeting of healthy reflection.
